McNEELEY POUNDS AWAY |

LOUISVILLE — Peter McNeeley of the Whitman-based South Shore Boxing Club knocked out Quinton Hardy at 2:50 of the first round last night in a heavyweight bout at Louisville, Kentucky. The victory lifted McNeeley's record to 30-1 with 24 knockouts. Last night's KO was his 17th in the first round. The card was held at the Louisville Gardens, located on Muhammad Ali Drive, before 1,400 fans. |
